Gran turismo 3 has an Arcade and Simulation mode. The Simulation Mode, also called the Gran Turismo Mode, is the career mode. The main goal of this mode is to win cash prizes, bonus cars, it's up to you what you want to do with them. You may sell or keep the cars. There are 3 leagues, beginner league, amateur league and professional league. You get to buy cars, tune them, unlock tracks and win money.

Every car has a unique feel. Testing during qualifying makes the difference at the end of the race.
But after playing 600 days, I can smoke and drive at the same time, daydream, and drift off thinking of adult activity while waiting for the enduance race to end.

I have generalised what seeting work well on most cars.

Do not over lower your car. Low looks cool, but bounces too much. Usually leave your car 4 to 6 clicks from lowest to allow for suspension. My girlfriends brother makes his cars like he wants to win at the Nopi Nationals. Then bounces off the walls to steer.

I got my Logitech Driving Force Pro (GT4) running in 900 degree rotation mode on GT3 and on any PC game supported by the wheel. Guys all you gotta do is to press these buttons in the calibration options menu (found in Options from main menu of GT3), or even during gameplay:

Select + R3 + Wheel mounted Right Paddle shifter (R1) = 900 degrees
Select + R3 + Wheel mounted Left Paddle shifter (L1) = 100% force feed back
(Note: For those who dont know where are the wheel mounted paddle shifter's, their the 2 buttons behind the wheel.)

The Diablo was a prize car in the Japanese GT3 (called a Nomad after the team name). This was complete but not present in the main game for the American NTSC release. The Porsche 911 GT3, and Stratos (road and rally) were complete but not present in the game for both versions.

For the PAL release all the above bodies were deleted (taking on the default Daihatsu body) as were the bodies of the four missing F1 cars as the PAL version had the Polyphony 001 (based on the F094/S) and the Polyphony 002 (based on the F688/S).

Hybrids on GT3 are cars that have been modded by using parts from other cars on the game.
There are a few ways of doing this, you can use a Game Shark, Shark Pork and similar items.this is how to do it using a shark port.

* Make sure you have Shark Port installed and ready to run on your home computer, and you PS2 hooked up to the computer.
* Hybrids with shark port
* Download the latest version of MKS: http://63.169.100.88/uploads/GT3/GT3gEditv20.zip
* Open the file and find the file called: GT hybrid hacking program then upload the program to your desktop.
